RENDES, Péter
Labour and organizational psychology
I’ve graduated as an organisational and work psychologist with the goal of supporting individuals, groups and organizations in living a fulfilling and happy professional life. Mostly I’ve been working with IT companies as a consultant, HR expert, trainer, coach and learning and development manager during my career. My coaching education followed the solution focused approach and was built strictly on the competencies and creditential system of the International Coaching Federation, in this journey my most important milestone was my recent certification as a Processional Certified Coach (PCC). I attend on supervision on a regular basis, which is not only a development opportunity, but also a great tool for quality assurance.
I work mainly in a solution-focused way, which is complemented by the methodology of the humanistic counselling. I believe, that every individual posesses the ability to continuously improve him/herself and is characterised by the drive to fulfill his or her own potential. The client is the expert on his own situation, this means that my role as a coach is to help him/her to define his/her goals clearly, to support him/her in understanding the surrounding world, reflect on his/her own resources and strengths, and to continue his/her journey on the road to self-actualization with realistic and motivating next steps. I accompany my clients on this road with a future- and action oriented approach, constant reframing and diligent investigation of their resources.
Previously I’ve been working with leaders in self-awareness based leadership development, competence development related to performance management, helping leaders widening their own role- and toolset and developing mentoring- and coaching competencies. My development philosophy is strongly integrative, I prefer to combine training methodology with group coaching tools, solution-focused or even mindfulness-based approach.
