HELMICH, Katalin
training
I have been working as a trainer both for for profit and for non-profit companies for seven years. As soon as I got my MA degree in Education I completed a two-year course in leading training groups. Meanwhile I started my Ph.D. research, which focuses on adult development as well.
The central question of my studies is why and how adults care for the following generations. The phenomenon of concern for and commitment to promoting the next generation is called generativity. Though the manifestations of generativity could differ both individually and culturally to foster the young generation, it is, in principle, an inevitable task for everybody since through the process of socialization it is becoming the most important theme of our desires and thoughts concerning the ”sense” of life.
As a trainer I am constantly trying to build my experiences and results derived from my studies into my work.
